So heres the week in review. I had to great Rosh Hashannah dinners. Once again my mom invited the band jews and I over for dinner. We had all the good stuff, Matzah ball soup, gefillte fish, and brisket. If this wasn't enough good food the next night Rachel invited over the jews to her place for another great meal.  I think its funny that at both houses we had jewish foods from other holidays.  Latkes and Matzoh ball soup are so good that they infiltrate every jewish holiday I guess.

If any of you weren't fortunate enough to go the football game, Let me tell you it was weird. For some reason the team was able to hold there own agaisnt #17 Wisconsin till a minute before halftime when the storm started. The stands were cleared and we ended up waiting under the Red Zone seating for an hour and a half until the game started again.  Let me say that it is cool that were getting nationally televised games, It isn't cool that UA athletics has become Fox Sports Networks bitch. The game was supposed to be at 7pm but fox payed money so we moved it to 1. Even though there was a rain delay there should have been a halftime. But no Fox Doesn't care about the band, or the University, or our athletics program, so thank you Rupert Murdock for cancelling our halftime show. The game ended sadly when the 4th quarter cats made there appearence and decided not to play defence or offense anymore. 9 to 7 ain't too bad I guess.

Thats it for the week.  This next one comming up seems to be laden with tests for everyone so good luck.

Well so much for the football game. It seems as the UA has picked up right where it left off blowing perfectly winnable games.  Well I guess theres always pep band. Speaking of  pep band, Last night I was in the track half of pep band go Blue. Un fortunately we incurred a  sideline penalty, fortunately it didnt do anyhting to the team one way or the  other. Before everyhting else is said and done I want to give a  major shoutout to Megan and Marchelo's couch.
Today is first degree. I'm really excited to start this prospective process from the other side. I've decided to have a  TBS daughter which should be pretty cool, I'll most likely be a woodwind daddy but we'll just wait and see.

Post Summer Post,
No posting since May, hot damn.  Pick up where we left off, then fast forward through a great summer of  orienting incoming freshman to the UA.  Long story short  this summer has opened my eyes to things that are way cooler than Poli-Sci. As soon as I get around to finding a new major, I'll be switching over.  At this point I'm feeling worn out on politics. I  refuse to lead my studies in somthing that is going to make me bitter, miserable, and  nuetered.  It's all ab out helping people on a small basis.  Think global, Act Local.  That being said  at some point post undergrad I think  I want to pursue a degree in higher education and administration.
Enough about life goals though,  IT'S GAME DAY!!!!   Utah has an advantage,  but I think with some hardwork, focus,  some luck, and maybe a field goal  The Cats can take this one.  Either way I get to play music and dance around like an idiot so its all good.  Hurray for  posting, maybe I'll do it more often.

I think everyone can quiete easily say that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. I have to admit that a monthly post is pretty lame.  But on to all the thousands of thigns that may have happened in the last month.

Basically everyhting has been a bout school. Not that I enjoy it all that much, but you have to go to class, so I do. Chapter has been a littel bit dissapointing post convention. Everyone is just getting ready to leave for the summer. I am looking forward to next semester and a new marching show and a new Prospective membership class.   On the plus side we just had the KKY Omega 75th birthday party last night.  I was surprised at how well it went. I got to meet some old old alums and hang out with some of the more recent alumni like Joey Graves and Dawn Morford and Pat Brown.

The next really exciting thing is this summer.  As I probably talked about a long time ago, I'm going to be a UA orientation leader this summer. We just finished our semester long training class and now as school comes to an end our jobs are about to begin. It looks like a ton of work, but I'll finally be doing something worthwhile.  Its hard to explain but i jsut have this Class Daze right now. Wake up go to class, hang out, go to sleep.  Being able to actually be helping people out this summer sounds so much better.

In other school news I've decided to stick with the Poli-Sci major but nwo instead of picking some sort of crazy job usefull minor I'm going to be an Art History minor.  I took a general art history class this last semester and I've been completely inspired. Art through the ages can tell us so much about history. I think to have a basic working knowledge of art is so important to being a well  rounded individual, but thats just me.

Now I was always under the impression that UA was a much better place than ASU. Smaller campus, more arts, a more progressive student body. Apperntly I was wrong. The other day I saw a news video of one of my friends (Haley) at ASU speaking at a pro-Dean student political rally.  I can't remeber anyhitng like that taking place out on the mall here. Instead we were greeted on friday with a number of 20 ft signs instructing us to repent or go to hell. There was even a guy walking around with a gigantic cross.  While I am content to stay here at UA I'd have to say that I'm a bit ashamed that this is what we have to offer in terms of free speach on our campus.

It looks like my KKY father Megan might be moving out of her really cool house. If everything works out me and a few people from highschool will get to take it over this summer. Everyone cross your fingers, for both parties. In the romance news it looks like I might be getting hooked up with one of my buddies girlfriends friend.  I'm excited to meet her, its been quite a while since I've even met somone Iliked like that. And everyone else seems to be saying I need to meet a nice girl. So I guess all I can say is cross your other set of fingers for me, or does that cancel out the luck. Well whatever, basically the end of school looks like its going to be far more entertaining than most of the semester.

Thats plenty for the time being. I hope everyone's finals go really well. Have a tolerable last two weeks.
